For the first time, George Clooney publicly addressed his July New York Times Op-Ed calling for Pres. Joe Biden to leave the presidential contest. While promoting his film “Wolfs” at the 81st Venice Film Festival, Clooney said that Biden’s actions were “the most selfless thing that anybody has done since George Washington,” and that “we’re all very excited for the future.”
